Xixi is getting more alert of her surrounding when she grew older. She keep pointing to the planes passed by before the dinner today.

Btw, she has stole Kim Kim's lime light as we were actually celebrating her belated birthday BUT Xixi happened to be 2 on the same date too! Ya, it's her lunar birthday today. & so...

Oh no, it's HFMD

Day 1. We first discovered red spot on both Xixi's feet on Sunday afternoon. Brought Xixi to clinic but Dr mentioned it's too early to confirm as HFM. Nonetheless, 1 week MC was given & Xixi was not allowed to go CC immediately.  What a bad news as this means Ryan & myself have to take leave alternatively to take care of the little one for the coming week at home. Btw, she drools a lot too.

Day 2. Her appetite started to drop. Only 1 time porridge taken & the rest was substituted with milk, as she only willing to drink milk. More red spot on both hands, feet & even her buttock. The poor little gal dun sleep well at nite. 外婆 reached Singapore to help out.

Day 3. Red spot continues to grow, some even with water inside, looks like chicken pox. No appetite at all. Today, she refused to take her milk for the 1st time, no water consumed at all.

Day 4. I only discovered her ulcer today. Her red spot start to subside & willing to eat dinner (o, it's her favorite ABC soup with rice), start drinking water.

Day 5. Conditions improved a lot, eating as usual. (Hurray!) Red spots reduced a lot & 外婆 going back to KL.

My little gal, you are a brave fighter & has done well in the past few days. Besides having poor appetite, you are still the active you. Mummy wish you fully recover soon & have funs with your little friends @ CC next week.

One more mth to go...

At 23 mths, XX likes 

- to turnaround & dance, nod & shake her head 

- to kiss us when we pretend to sleep & she will kiss until we wake up! 

- & willing to answer our question using language  

XX is slow in talking. But recently she talks a lot. From 2 mths ago, she still saying single word, ball, fly, pig, to last mth nana, gong 2, gu2, & the latest Daddy, wa gong, wa ma, apple, pig.....let. 

She has improved a lot. She also start pronouncing A, B, C, K, Y etc & the learning speed is real fast. We are so glad to monitor her growth & continue "discovering" her new skill.

In our recent KL trip, Xixi started to say "a....pple", after she has broken Gugu's expensive puzzle apple. It was a birthday present prepared by Gugu for his friend.
I doubt she know she has 闯祸, sorry Gugu.

It's Zoo again

This is XX's 3rd visit to Zoo in a year. Every visit seems interesting to her, & her favourites remain unchanged - Kidzworld Water Play Area.

Have a munch before the start of great day.

We almost lost our Fujifilm P&S camera today, the camera was left at Kids World KFC by careless mummy, luckily Daddy manage to find back once we discovered it's lost within half an hour. My special thanks for KFC staff to help us on this case. In the other end, XX doze off during Animals show.

We were lucky again coz it rain once we stepped out from Zoo.

Her new sandal

Xixi has outgrown her old sandal, thus we have bot one to replace the old & dirty one. But she refused to wear it from the day we bot it. We never think she would so insist to put on her old pair, she even throw the new one aside to make ways for her old pair in shoe cabinet. See the flowery sticker that we have added to make her change her mind?

& yes, Daddy managed to persuade her to wear it today!

Bye bye, the 2 whales already in our dustbin today. 

Lesson learned, dun ever buy a plain design stuff for kid.

A room for the Ladies

Since Xixi was young, YiYi has made a promise to sleep with our little princess when she turn 1. Until recently (after CNY), Xixi finally enter Yiyi's territory & start sleeping together. Mummy has since ordered the deco sticker for the 2 ladies. Is it nice?

Sembawang Shopping Centre

This shopping centre is around 5-10 mins drive from our home. We had promised XX to bring her here again during my birthday celebration. We reached around 10am but found that the carpark is almost full, really a kiasu world.

She is in good mood, while we were waiting for our breakfast.

But her heart has flied out slowly...

All in all, we knew today is a happy day for her. Obvious, rite?
