Crayon time

Recently Xixi likes to use crayon. 

At this time, she still can't grip the crayon correctly. 

Anyway, we never restrict her & let her scribble freely on paper.

When she is in good mood, she will tell us whatever colour she is using.

The 1st Meet The Parent Session

Xixi's form teacher has arranged to meet us on Sat 9.30am, according to Ms. Shidah, there are 2 such sessions in a year.

Having breakfast at Starbuck b4 the session.

I found this short discussion is good as we have very limited info regarding Xixi's CC life. Ms. Shidah has shared with us these:

The good about Xixi:-

1. Independent. She has no problem in self feeding, taking nap, bath, play & follow instruction.

2. Cheerful. Most of the teachers in CC likes to play with her, as she always give them her 招牌笑容. It would be a great news in CC if they find Xixi is crying in CC.

3. Leader. Xixi is more of a leader than a follower. She likes to lead ppl other than follow her fellow toddlers.

4. Strong academic. She has master her A-Z, 1-12, simple shape & colour long ago.

But, the good bring the bad too, sadly, Xixi has problem in:-

1. Socialising. She always do things alone, seldom mix with other kids. We noticed that too, at CC, the Jie Jie & Gor Gor or even her classmate will call her happily & wan to play to her, but Xixi seems "Bor Chap" them most of the time.

2. Interacting. She seldom speak out her mind. When she want to drink, she only show her right arm to teacher. But she never did tat at home. Recently, Xixi actually speak more. She will call us, & say some simple word like, hold hand, come, sit down, sing song, stand up, wake up, go outside. We wonder why she dun act the same in CC.

2. Toilet training. She has no sign of poo & will not inform teacher even after she poo. Worst, she refuse to go toilet when teacher try to toilet train her. According to teacher, she is not ready & we shouldn't force her, but only can guide her slowly. :<

3. Smile too much? When she kena scolded by teacher due to notiness, she can still smile & make teacher dunno how to react.

4. Impatient. During lesson time, she always answer the questions posted to other toddlers even though teacher has named other kids to answer tat question, end up, she is the only one who answer ALL the questions.

5. Fine Motor skill. She can't grip the pen / pencil correctly.

Twinkle twinkle little star

Recently, Xixi likes to sing song before she sleep.

She will lie on bed beside us and start singing.

This is the first song she sing.

My conclusion for her first song, 字字皆辛苦！

The next day, Daddy realiased the duck song is 丑小鸭

Daddy was trying to on TV for Xixi.
Mummy was reading magazine.

Suddenly, the little one sitting on the sofa said loudly, "Mummy, Mummy, I Luv U!"
So sweet, rite?

XiXi 受伤了

Xixi's back with bruised / injured elbows & knees today, after her supermarket trip with Daddy. I quickly clean the wounds & applied medicine for her when she reached home. The brave gal didn't cry much according to Daddy, but we are so 心疼.
