Xixi's fever started from Wednesday nite & Mummy has fed her medicine b4 she slept. But fever didn't subside until the next morning. Without any choice, Mummy took leave to bring her to clinic, coz coincidently Daddy OT until 4am the same nite. It's throat infection again.
The fever subsided on Thursday nite & we sent XX to CC the next day. But she came back with fever again at nite & worse still, her medicine was left at CC! We tried to buy another set from clinic but it was closed until the next day. Luckily we never passed the fever medicine to CC & fed her only fever medicine.
On Sat day, when she wake up from nap, her fever shot up to 40.2 degree. We were panic but still pretend calm in front of her. Since Paracetamol has no effect on her, we gave her Bifen Suspension this time coz her temperature was 40.5 degree! After taken the medicine, we sent her to KK immediately.
Dr confirmed is throat infection again but was surprised the Bifen didn't bring her temperature down much. So, Xixi was given 7ml of Paracetamol again. But she commented XX looks ok coz she looks active & normal (without any sick/tire look) at hospital. We were instructed to monitor her closely in the next 2 days, if feverish didn't improve, Xixi must come back for further checkup. We were relieve that she sweat a lot & body temperature came down in less than 1 hr.
& since she was not feeling well, all the weekend plan has been cancelled, this include Ken's 1st birthday party. We entertained her this at home.
