Childcare Centre

Being the first & only baby at home, she is playing alone most of the time. No siblings, cousins & even friends. It’s getting obvious that she can’t get along with other kids. At times, she snaps other Jie Jie’s toys without even look at them. We think it’s time for her to mix with other kids & start socialising, so we decided to enrol her to childcare centre once she reach 18 mth.

After much consideration & visits to different centre, we have chosen Kinderland. http://www.kinderland.com.sg/ We shall make the registration this weekend.

Hair Cutting

Nanny told me Xixi's hair is getting longer, she start rubbing her eyes sometimes. Ya, i notice too. So once reached home took out the comb & scissor and decided to give her a hair cut. Yiyi warned me, "Pls don't do tat again, the previous time has made Xixi ugly for sometimes, not again." Well, mummy at the other end already start cutting Xixi's hair.

2 minutes later, i start looking for helps! Goodness, Xixi has been tortured without knowing her new ugly looks is unbearable. How???

It was 7.45pm, mummy quickly bring Xixi out looking for barber! Phew! QB is still opening & they are able to give Xixi a help on her hair. She looks curious when i put her on the chair, i signal the barber to start, she quickly get ready for a war. Xixi refused to put on the cover, so no choice, the whole process was w/o cover. Thanks to the small TV in front to distract her, she able to sit on my lap and get her hair done w/o much difficulties in less than 10 minutes. Can't do much, the fringe was too short to save, this is the new look of Xixi.

The damage to mummy's pocket? S$10.

Haiz, should have paid earlier, i can foresee more complain coming soon, especially when her 外婆 coming this weekend.

PaW wAlk 2008 for Babies & Toddlers

We took part in this event organised by Wyeth in the morning.

We were late by 30 minutes, it's crowded when we reached there. A lot of parents like us bring their family to join the fun.

姨姨 look alike?

Xixi's hair is getting longer, so we tried to tie her hair last Friday. Then we realise... how come she looks like 姨姨's young time? We plan to dig out our old photos during our next balik kampung trip, then we will compare again.

Btw, here is a drawing by 姨姨 & mummy to Xixi. Wonder she can figure which is which? Honestly, i find it quite cute. :P

Sembawang Park

After coming back from JB, we decided to go Sembawang Park. Honestly, although we have stayed in Woodlands for more than 3 years, we seldom visit the neighbourhood.

We know Singapore is small, we just dunno that we are so close to sea. It's just less than 10 minutes drive from our house! Dun expect crystal clear water from here, but it's enough for Xixi to know wat is sand & sea. Attached photo can see how enjoy my gal was!

Enfa A+ Smart Camp

Was at JB's Terbau City yesterday, when we saw this camp, decided to take a look since Xixi is drinking Enfa A+.

There were games seting up for kid but mostly not for Xixi's age group. This is wat Xixi played.

I tot Xixi would like being inside the pool full of balls like others, but she refused to stand inside. Rather surprise, she enjoys playing the little music instrument together with a bundle of kids.

1st MRT Trip

Xixi has her first MRT trip on 5 July 08 (Sat). We choose a less crowded afternoon timing, from Woodlands to Bukit Batok. She looks pretty ok in the photos, in fact, she is NOT!!! Very noti, climbing up & down, walking here & there, we also very busy & embarrassed. Luckily not much ppl at the train. I think she is real curious abt this train gua?!

Kuishin bo Japanese Buffet Dinner

Like last time when we had japanese food, we only let her eat the rice & chawanmushi, she start cranky after sitting there for 0.5 hrs, no choice, we bring her out to Toy r’us outside separately. (ya, poor daddy n mummy take turns) when almost done, I brought her in again. & we let her play the crab (the long leg crab!) she start biting it. goodness, she is able to bite until the shell crack! So, we knew Xixi got strong tooth! Haa haa.

We walk around after coming out from Kuishinbo, suddenly Xixi was eager to walk. These are taken out from the video clip. There were more than 3 kids like Xixi learning to walk at the same time, quite coincidence.

Lian Shan Shuang Lin Temple

Brought Xixi to a temple in Toa Payoh , it has a very well maintained garden. See, happy Xixi walking / running around.
